Meet the Crew
Kalo Sunset - Captain and business partner.
He has a slight obsession with sailing, lives for the expedition and has thousands of sea miles under his belt from working and living on the ocean. He was born and raised on the Eyre Peninsula’s wild west coast and knows the area intimately. You will find him behind the wheel and working the ropes on every charter and on his days off. If you can get him off the boat, you will find him on a mission with his young family or chasing a surf up the coast.
Emma Fahey - Crew, business partner & behind the scenes boss.
She loves the rugged & diverse coastline, the fresh air and the wildlife in and out of the water. She has always loved travel, being in nature & seeking adventure which is how she found the West Coast. She met Kalo here and he introduced her to sailing which she instantly loved! They now live a simple salty lifestyle with their 2 daughters.
Rebecca Laidlaw - Senior Crew
Bec is our senior crew, making sure that you are well fed & watered throughout your cruise, but don’t look twice if you see her behind the wheel as she is also a qualified skipper. Bec grew up by the seaside in Adelaide & throughout life has always made sure she is never too far away from the ocean. 6 years ago she made the move to the Eyre Peninsula and instantly fell in love with the raw & pristine coastline. Since then she has been working on the ocean in tourism, both locally & in Exmouth WA, spreading her passion for the environment and the animals that inhabit it.

Marianne Tremp - Crew
Marianne is our newest crew member. She was born in Switzerland and fell in love with the sea after experiencing the wild Atlantic Ocean for the first time as a child. Many adventurous travels have led her to settle in beautiful Coffin Bay 15 years ago. Working on Sunset Charters is always a great adventure. I can’t wait to share this magnificent part of the world with you and welcome visitors and locals on board the RazzleDazzle.
